A Process Based Approach

We believe we achieve some of the best results for our clients through an education-focused, comprehensive planning process.  Many financial planning relationships focus on products and within the first or second meeting, they may be making recommendations or selling products.  We see things differently.  We recognize that products, for the most part, are not as important as building great financial habits to your long-term success.  Our process typically lasts four or five meetings where we spend time teaching you the habits that help move you toward financial success.  We focus on helping you become a world-class saver saving at least 15-20% of gross income.*  We help you build accessible cash (that we call liquidity) so you can take advantage of opportunities as they arise, and defend against unexpected problems.   We work to help you minimize or eliminate short-term debt, and build a systematic plan to pay down long-term debt over time.  And lastly, we help ensure you are fully protected for all the unexpected events that could catastrophically cripple your family's financial situation.  If we can teach you the fundamentals, and build systematic, intentional habits to support those fundamentals, the hard work is done.  The products then simply become tools to help you execute as efficiently as possible.  Whether it's retirement planning, college education planning, investment management, insurance and risk management, or growth and exit planning for business owners, everything in your financial life can be managed through a relationship with Westshore Financial. We would love the opportunity to show you how we are different!
