Connor O'Brien
Financial Representative
Connor O’Brien is a Tampa-born financial coach who combines real-world experience, his athletic background, and his Jesuit education to help people build healthy financial habits and long-term confidence with their money.
He graduated from Jesuit High School in 2012, where he was a scholar-athlete, and went on to pitch at NC State, Tallahassee Community College, and the University of Southern Mississippi. Connor earned his accounting degree from Southern Miss in 2017, choosing the field because he believes accounting is the language of business and a foundation for understanding important financial decisions.
Connor approaches financial services as a “Man for Others,” focusing on service, humility, and education. His philosophy emphasizes clarity, simplicity, and helping anyone who genuinely wants to improve their relationship with money and build a more organized financial life.
Outside of coaching, Connor is active in his community and his family life. He coaches his nephews’ baseball team and hopes to expand that passion into becoming a private baseball instructor for young kids and teenagers, both to share what he learned as a player and to connect with more families in the area.
He spends a lot of time outdoors with his mixed shepherd, Hazel, whose boundless energy keeps Connor’s arm in shape thanks to their daily dog park routines and endless rounds of fetch.
Connor stays active through golf, pickleball, flag football, softball, CrossFit, water skiing, and snowboarding. He also loves the energy of live events, especially Bucs games, Rays games, and concerts, and brings that same enthusiasm into the way he coaches and connects with others.
