I’m a Florida native, originally from Zephyrhills, and I’ve spent my life working in a variety of industries. Growing up in a family auto repair and salvage business, I learned the ins and outs of being a mechanic. After graduating from Zephyrhills High School (Go Bulldogs!), I joined my father in the construction industry, building homes. At 25, I switched gears, trading in my tool belt for a badge and beginning a career in law enforcement. Over the course of 25 years, I served with three different Florida agencies, eventually joining the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office in 1995.
After retiring from law enforcement in 2013, I pivoted to business ownership and ran a franchise in the home improvement sector. In 2020, I sold my business and transitioned into the financial services industry. I quickly realized how much this field aligns with my previous law enforcement career—especially when it comes to protection. In law enforcement, my job was to protect the community. In financial services, I now have the privilege of protecting the financial well-being and future of my clients. At heart, I’m a protector, and my role at Westshore Financial Group allows me to continue doing what I love.
I hold a B.A. in Criminology from Saint Leo University (2001), and in my spare time, I enjoy golfing, boating, and building Cigar Box Guitars.
